The scope and role of music ministry within the Christian church has been
changing dramatically over last few decades. How can the vital and
transformative power of music continue to help sustain and shape God’s
people as we live into the future? Come help us discover and discern how our
congregation can embrace the rich possibilities of an integrated life of
faith filled with a diversity of music.

The Director of Music Ministries (DMM) will be responsible for coordinating,
developing and implementing the music program of the congregation.  The DMM
will coordinate our adult choir (rehearse and direct) which provides music
ministry in worship 2-3 times a month. In addition, the DMM will also work
with other musicians and groups to plan appropriate music (anthems and
special music) for weekly Sunday morning and special services. A familiarity
with traditional Christian sacred music as well as an engagement of
contemporary religious forms would be beneficial.  Applicant is encouraged to
exercise their creativity and must be able to work collaboratively with
current organist, skilled musicians, pastors, staff and laity.  Job

This is a part time position which will average 12 hours per week for 42
weeks a year September 1st – June 15th.
