Director of Music Ministry | The Congregational Church of Naugatuck, CT

Music can provide a pathway into greater wonder and amazement at the love,
life, pain and joy of God, says hymnist Brian Wren.   The Congregational
Church of Naugatuck, UCC is seeking a Director of Music Ministries to help
create just such an environment of wonder and amazement in worship.  This
part-time position will provide organ and piano music for our weekly Sunday
worship and other special worship events. In addition, this energetic and
engaging individual will lead our volunteer choirs, both adult and children,
with the goal of both providing for music that supports the scripture,
prayers and message on any given Sunday and also providing choir members a
way to more fully engage with the divine through the music that they sing
under this Director’s leadership.
Terms of Position: This is a part-time exempt position of 15 per week to
participate in worship, conduct rehearsals for choirs, attend weekly staff
meetings and practice on organ and piano.  This is a year round position but
one should expect an abbreviated schedule in the summer months.  The terms
