The Drew Ubuntu Pan-African Choir (UPAC) is a dynamic 40-voice multi-ethnic, multi-cultural choir comprised of college students from Drew University, in Madison, New Jersey, that celebrates in the diversity of music from around the African Diaspora. In January 2008 they will be singing in Boston, New Haven, New York, and Washington D.C. performing music based on the themes of justice and reconciliation. Much of the music is composed by the choir’s director.

The word “Ubuntu” has been described as “unity, togetherness, and interdependence of humanity.”
