Glory to God:  From Creation to New Creation

Glory to God is the most diverse collection of musical materials that the Presbyterian Church has ever published for use in worship. This workshop will introduce participants to a broad sweep of hymns, psalms, and spiritual songs from the wide variety of genres included in the collection.  We will follow the collection’s salvation history outline, from Creation to New Creation, exploring the hymnal as a resource for teaching, preaching, and praying.  Our time together will be framed with brief services for morning and midday prayer, using the suggested liturgies from the hymnal.  The workshop will also offer glimpses into how the collection came to be created, and provide ample time for questions and answers from participants.

The hymnal project website is here.
