The Kammerchor Stuttgart is regarded as one of the best ensembles of its kind. In over 45 years, Frieder Bernius has formed the choir into a special entity celebrated by the public and the press. The repertoire of the choir ranges from the 17th to the 21st century. On the ensemble, ZEIT wrote, “no superlative is wasted to boast of this choir.”

The ensemble receives invitations to all important European festivals and performs in prestigious concert halls. It was invited to Vienna, Sydney, and Seoul for the 1st, 4th, and 10th World Symposium for Choral Music. Its worldwide reputation has been documented by regular North American and Asian tours since 1988 as well as a South American tour. Since 1984, the top group has also been a guest in Israel every two years, most recently in September 2015 within the framework of the 50-year diplomatic relations between Germany and Israel.
