The Hand of God image is visible at the top right of this section from the detailed Exodus scene: it is one of several in the Dura synagogue panels that are the earliest examples in Jewish art. Below it are the elders of the twelve tribes holding standards and a company of soldiers crossing the Red Sea: several painted emblems are discernible on their shields.
