The AAM Gerre Hancock Internship is one of the important initiatives that the Association of Anglican Musicians supports to encourage young professionals in pursuit of their craft. The purpose of the Internship is to offer an extraordinarily talented young church musician, someone who may lack experience in the Anglican/Episcopal traditions of liturgy and music, an opportunity to be mentored intensely for ten months in one of the Episcopal Church’s great music programs by one of more of our leading musicians. The intent is for the Internship to be broad-based, affording the intern the opportunity to be personally mentored in every aspect of the many musical and non-musical skills that are necessary to be a highly successful church musician.

Grace Cathedral, San Francisco will host the 2020–2021 AAM Gerre Hancock Fellowship.
