St. Bartholomew’s Church in the City of New York, a large and welcoming parish with a vibrant, ambitious music program, seeks to hire a full-time Associate Organist and Choirmaster. 

The Associate Organist and Choirmaster will direct St. Bartholomew’s Choristers (our RSCM-affiliated choir of children and youth), will help the Organist and Choirmaster in directing St. Bartholomew’s Choir (professional), St. Bart’s Singers (semi-professional), and will assist with the Great Music concert series. The Associate Organist and Choirmaster will share equally in the responsibilities of service playing, both for traditional services in the Anglican tradition, as well as innovative worship including music in a variety of genres.

The candidate will possess a strong record  and calling to making music with young people, as well as a high standard of performing organ repertoire, choral accompaniment, and service playing. AGO/RCCO certification preferred.
