Director of Music (Narragansett Bay, RI)

St. Peter’s by-the-Sea, a beautiful, historic Episcopal Church on Narragansett Bay, R.I., seeks a dynamic Director of Music who will inspire a love of music through performance and education. The Director of Music, in collaboration with the Rector, provides oversight and administration of the music program. The candidate will demonstrate strong musical skills for service playing and knowledge of educational methods in choral leadership for both adults and children at varying levels of ability. Involvement in the music program will offer the opportunity to grow in musicianship. The Director of Music should display strong interpersonal skills, engaging both congregation and the surrounding community. The position is 20 hours per week with competitive salary and benefits.
