Interim Music Director (Philadelphia, PA)

The Church of St. Martin-in-the-Fields is seeking an Interim Organist/Choirmaster to lead our robust choral program during the first six to eight months of 2020.  The successful candidate will be an excellent organist and choral director; will have excellent people skills and a pastoral sensitivity to a program in transition.   Our 40 voice adult choir has four paid section leaders and is capable of singing the most challenging church repertoire.  The parish choir sings every Sunday for Eucharist and at one Evensong per month.  Our treble choir recently is an a stage of redevelopment and is a priority for the parish going forward.  The St. Martin's congregation is passionately supportive of our music program and professes their love of somewhat unique capacity to present a rich diversity of musical styles.  St. Martins is an open and affirming congregation with many LGBTQ leaders and we are dedicated to an extensive Anti-Racism program called Becoming Beloved Community.  We are an equal opportunity employer.  For more information please contact:  The Rev.
