Minister of Music/Choir Director (City Island, New York)

The Minister of Music at Grace Episcopal Church, City Island is a PART TIME position with on-campus presence required on Sundays, Holy Days and other services / rehearsals arranged in advance.  The candidate will enjoy working with an enthusiastic group of singers as both teacher, director and accompanist.  The salary range is $800 - $900 per month and 2 paid Sundays off during the first year of commitment. Our worship music comes primarily from the 1982 hymnal and also from Lift Every Voice and Sing 2 (LEVAS) and the Wonder, Love & Praise supplement.  Hymns and anthems from other sources are also used periodically at the discretion of the Minister of Music in coordination with the Priest in Charge / Pastor.
