Job Description: 

- Provide programming and performance of vocal and accompanying music for 3 weekend Masses: Saturday 4:30 PM Vigil and Sunday 9:30 and 11:30 AM
- Provide programming and performance of vocal and accompanying music for Holy Day Masses as scheduled: typically 6:30 PM Holy Day and some Vigil Mass as scheduled; Christmas Eve: 5:00 and 10:00 PM Vigils and 10:00 AM Christmas Day; and Easter Triduum: 7:00 PM Holy Thursday Mass, 3:00 PM Good Friday Service and 8:00 PM Easter Vigil Mass
- Provide programming and performance of vocal and accompanying music for school Masses as scheduled throughout the school year and graduation Baccalaureate Mass in June
- Provide programming and performance of music, and arrange for cantor with the approval of the Pastor, for Confirmation Mass when hosted at St. Aedan and Brendan Parish, celebrated jointly among area parishes in successive years
- Assist in leading music for the Stations of the Cross in Lenten Friday night series
- Provide programming and performance of music, and engagement and management of additional cantor(s) and instrumentalists as requested, for funerals in coordination with Pastor and/or family of deceased
- Provide programming and performance of music, and engagement and management of additional cantor(s) and instrumentalists as requested, for weddings in coordination with bridal couple
- Provide training and direction of 9:30 and 11:30 AM Parish Choirs to include pre-Mass rehearsal and performance at Mass during the school year through Trinity Sunday.
- Provide coordination with volunteer cantors, and training and direction of cantors (when needed), for Triduum and Holy Days as appropriate
- Provide coordination with volunteer instrumentalists, and training and direction of instrumentalists (when needed), for Christmas and Easter Holy Days as appropriate
- Meet monthly or seasonally as appropriate with Pastor to discuss upcoming liturgy requirements
- Manage music library and maintain music ministry instruments and resources
- Manage music ministry procurement of music and publications with approval from Pastor
