Job Description: 

The Organist/Choir Director is a part-time (10 hours weekly), year round, permanent position, with the choir in session from September to June. As a deeply valued and integral member of our staff, our next Organist/Choir Director will direct and nurture our dedicated choir averaging 8-12 voices weekly, and will support the worship experience through music; one service Sunday 10:00am. Responsibilities:

 · Work with the Pastor in preparation for Worship Services

· Play organ or piano music for all regular Sunday Services offering hymns, prelude, postlude, offertory, and Communion once a month.

· Play for special services during Advent (Christmas Eve and Christmas), and Lent (Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday).

· Direct, accompany and nurture the church choir for Sunday and special services when choir is in session including weekly rehearsal.
