Historic, downtown, RC parish with deomstrable support of musical excellence seeks a musician with the following skill-sets: organist proficient in accompanying, service playing, and improvisation with a love of hymnody (The English Hymnal, Worship/Gather III, Flor y Canto); liturgically adept choirmaster versed in the Church’s vast treasury of choral literature (Chant Mass Ordinaries, choral Masses, anthems and catata/oratorio excerpts by 15th-21st century Euro-American composers in their original languages) with passion for recruiting and training boys/girls and adult amateur/professional choristers and cantors.
