Job Description:
The Suzuki Music School of Newtown, CT is currently looking for piano teachers to accommodate their growing enrollment. From its earliest beginnings in 1977, the school has strived to develop the whole child through music education. We provide a stimulating and creative work environment that values family, diversity, and employee initiative.
Duties:
• Provide weekly private lessons for ages 5 years through adult at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels of study
• Attend student recitals
Qualifications:
• B.A. or B.M. in performance or B.M.E. with piano concentration; Master’s Degree preferred. Undergraduates on track for a B.A., B.M. or B.M.E. will also be considered.
• Willingness to obtain Suzuki teacher training.
