Soprano Section Leader/Soloist (Westport, CT)

Christ & Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Westport, CT, a welcome and affirming church in downtown Westport, seeks a Soprano Section Leader to round out their quartet of professional singers that support the friendly and very-able Parish Choir. We are seeking someone who has blended choral ensemble singing, good sight-reading skills, knowledge of Anglican traditions, and a friendly manner. 

 

Commitment includes Thursday evening rehearsals 7:30-9:30 and one Sunday 9:30am morning service per week, with possibility of being a soloist for the evening 5pm contemporary meditative service. Extra services include Choral Evensong, Christmas Lessons & Carols, Christmas Eve, Holy Week services, Easter, weddings, and funerals. Compensation is $180/week ($90/call), with extra compensation for Evensongs, weddings, and funerals.
