Congratulations to Matthew Dexter M.M. ’26 and Veronica Roan M.M. ’25 for winning awards at the prestigious 49th Annual Lyndon Woodside Oratorio-Solo Competition finals concert held at Carnegie Hall on April 18, 2026. Matthew received the Watson Family Award, while Veronica received the William Grogan Award.
The competition, inaugurated in 1977, encourages the art of oratorio singing and provides young artists with the opportunity to advance their careers. The Oratorio Society of New York is one of the oldest musical organizations in the United States and has become New York City’s standard for grand choral performance.
