ISM M.M. alum and current D.M.A. student named semi-finalist in prestigious organ competition

Congratulations to alumnus and incoming Doctor of Musical Arts student Anne Maria Lim (M.M. ‘25) (D.M.A ‘32), one of nine semi-finalists to compete in the 2026 National Young Artists Competition in Organ Performance on July 4 during the American Guild of Organists (AGO) national convention in St. Louis, Missouri. 

Congratulations also to Lim’s organ professor at Yale, ISM director Martin Jean.

Lim was appointed staff accompanist at the Yale Institute of Sacred Music in 2025, following completion of her Master of Music degree. She also serves as director of music and organist at Center Church on the Green in New Haven and at the Episcopal Church at Yale. She completed her Bachelor of Music degree in organ performance and music theory at the Eastman School of Music, where she studied with Nathan Laube and Anne Laver.
