Job Description:
First Congregational Church right in popular Downtown Stamford, CT is look
for trained singers that are able to lead a church service in the role of
cantor/music worship leader. Male or female voices welcome. Must be able to
read music very well. College trained musicians desired. You’ll work with
the church choir and music ensemble.

One weekly Sunday rehearsal/service only. Rehearsal begins at 8 AM and
service ends at 11:30 AM. Pay is $120. Music is a mixture of traditional
hymns, classical anthems, contemporary Christian worship music, and some
Spanish too. Singers must sight-read very well, come to rehearsal musically
prepared with part learned and be able to sing in all styles, be friendly, a
team player, timely, positive and fun.

An audition with the music director would include singing some of your own
repertoire, demonstrate understanding of singing technique, and
sight-reading. If you’re interested or know someone who may be, please
