Yale Camerata to perform "Out of Time" on October 14

On Saturday, October 14, Yale Camerata will be performing their first concert of the season in Woolsey Hall—don’t miss it! Conducted by Dr. Felicia Barber, the 70-person choir drawn from the Yale and New Haven communities, will perform music that explores the many aspects of time and its ability to be elusive, fleeting, and precious. “Out of Time” will feature Fern Hill by John Corigliano which highlights the text of Welsh poet Dylan Thomas. It will be performed with full orchestra and will feature Yale School of Music soloist mezzo soprano, Dr. Adriana Zabala. Other music will be from Rosephanye Powell, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, Reena Esmail, Jennifer Lucy Cook, Hall Johnson, Roland Carter, and Susan Brumfield.
