Alto and Bass Staff Singers (Trumbull, CT)
The Parish of Saint Catherine of Siena in Trumbull, CT is seeking experienced alto and bass singers for a 4-voice professional ensemble.
The position includes the following: 1 monthly Wednesday evening rehearsal (7:00-9:00pm), Sunday 11:00 a.m. Mass (10:00am rehearsal) and all other special Masses as announced. Availability for Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, all of Holy Week and Easter Sunday is required.
Desired qualifications:
- Developed voice with a rich sound and bendable tone
- Strong sight singing ability
- Choral experience, preferably in small ensembles
- Ability to learn music independently outside of rehearsals
Stipend is $100 per call, contigent upon experience and education, payable at the end of each month. This is an independently contracted position. All independent contractors must be in compliance with the Diocese of Bridgeport Safe Environments policy. This includes a background check and certification in the Virus training program. The position begins in mid-September.
