Job Description: 

Greens Farms Church seeks an Associate Director of Music Ministry to lead the contemporary praise program within the GFC music ministry. We are looking for a vocalist or pianist with extensive knowledge of contemporary Christian worship music who is a skilled communicator and community builder.

The Associate Director of Music Ministry reports to the Director of Music Ministry and is responsible for leading praise music during Sunday morning services. Primary responsibilities include rehearsing and developing our volunteer praise band, as well as programming, arranging as necessary, and preparing each week’s praise music. The Associate Director also participates in the church’s traditional chancel choir, either as a singer or rehearsal pianist.

The position requires 18 to 20 hours per week from August 15th through early June and 5 to 10 hours per week over the summer. Hours are flexible, with only mandatory times on site being Thursday evenings from 7pm to 9pm, and Sunday Morning from 8:30am to 11:30am.
