Job Description: 

The First Presbyterian Church of New Canaan, CT is seeking a Bass/Baritone to join our paid quartet which guides and supports our choir of volunteers. 

The choir provides musical offerings to support the weekly message at our Sunday Worship – September through June. Additional solo opportunities exist year-round. 

·       Sunday call is 9AM-11:30AM (10AM Worship with a 9AM warm-up)

·       Thursday evening rehearsal is from 7:00PM-8:00PM

·       Additional services Christmas Eve and Holy Week

·       Pay is $125.00 per call ($250.00 per week) 

·       Additional opportunities for special services and concert performances

Choral musicians familiar with a variety of choral music, comfortable producing a clear, blended sound, with a strong sight-reading ability, and who enjoy working with volunteer musicians are encouraged to apply. 

The church’s current policy on masks is that they are optional. Services are live streamed and archived on LocalLive. First Presbyterian is a 15-minute walk from the New Canaan train station.
