We are seeking an organist/pianist who can help lead worship on Sunday mornings and provide musical skills for the church choir and special services. 

Working hours

Currently, the position is part-time (20 hours) involving Sunday morning, Wednesday evening, and some weekly responsibilities.  Part-time to full-time is negotiable depending on the interest and gifts of a candidate. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in music or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrate leadership and spiritual maturity.
  • Prior training in music ministry.
  • Broad knowledge of Christian worship music across multiple styles and generational tastes.

The Organ

The Rodgers/Reuter Digital Pipe Organ was installed in 1972 and upgraded in 2002.  The organ upgrades include 96 ranks (the equivalent of 6,296 pipes) a digital console, four keyboards, an antiphonal (echo) organ in the balcony, and additional speakers which digitally enhance the existing pipe organ.  The wooden pipes are made of Philippine mahogany; and the metal pipes are made from the usual allow of lead and tin, with zinc being used for the larger metal pipes.
