ORGANIST/VOCALIST (PT) (East Boston, MA)

Sacred Heart Parish in East Boston is looking to hire an organist/vocalist for our weekly Saturday, 4pm; Sunday, 8:30 am and 10 am English Masses. In addition, there are services during Holy Week on Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday and Masses on Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning, annual Communion, Confirmation services.

The candidate would be responsible to choose appropriate songs to accompany the Sunday liturgy, play the organ and lead the congregation in song. Down the road, the possibility of forming a choir would be an option. We have occasional weddings and funerals that may request musical accompaniment. Competitive compensation, based on a per diem rate.
