Our Lady of Guadalupe Roman Catholic Church Program of Sacred Music

The Sacred Music Program of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in La Habra, Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange, seeks to hire professional singers to serve as members of our Schola Cantorum, Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass, and to assist as Section Leaders in our Parish Choir. Annual remuneration is $12,500.00. Special Liturgies offer additional remuneration up to $1,500 per annum.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in music performance or appropriate equivalent experience;
  • Prior work experience singing in a Schola or professional music group, as well as prior work experience serving as a Section Leader;
  • Excellent sight-reading skills;
  • Excellent vocal technique, musicianship, and ensemble skills;
  • Willingness and ability to inspire and support our Parish Choir choristers. Duties & Responsibilities: • Attend all scheduled rehearsals, Masses/Services, concerts, etc. as required by the Schola Cantorum Director and Music Director.
