Tenor / Bass - St. John's Schola Cantorum (Washington, Connecticut)

Unique and flexible church job for outstanding choral musicians (one or more Sundays per month, based on your availability and interest). Perform an eclectic array of one-on-a-part SATB polyphony in a fast-paced professional chamber choir (participate every Sunday or simply select whichever dates work for you each month). No mid-week rehearsals… just show up on Sunday morning and sing! Excellent intonation and superb sight-singing skills are required. Call time on Sunday is 8:00am; service at 10:00am (typically done by 11:05am). Compensation is competitive, and supplementary travel stipends and/or carpool options may be available in some cases. Opportunities may arise for individuals with specialized musical skills and interests to conduct, accompany, perform vocal or instrumental solos, and/or compose original works for the ensemble.
