Martin Jean, juror for Second International Organ Competition of Korea
From September 18-27, ISM director, Martin Jean, joined professors Henry Fairs (UK), Ja Kyung Oh (South Korea), Dong-ill Shin (South Korea) and Wolfgang Zerer (Germany) on the jury for the Second International Organ Competition of Korea. Eleven competitors from around the world selected from a pool of forty-five competed for three main prizes in the semi-final and final round of the first ever international organ competition held in South Korea. The competition feature the Rieger organ in the Lotte Concert Hall and the GOArt organ in the Korea National University of Arts.

Professor Jean is a world-renowned, prize-winning organist who has performed widely throughout the United States and Europe and is known for his broad repertorial interests.
