“Set My Tongue on Fire: Exploring the language and forms of poetry and prayer”
This lecture will explore some poetic forms that hold the raw language of prayer. Taking examples from the Irish tradition, as well as contemporary liturgy and poetry, participants will explore how various forms can contain the desire of prayer.
