As part of the 2024 Yale Organ Academy to be held from June 23-28 in New Haven, CT, the Yale Institute of Sacred Music is offering a series of organ recitals which are free and open to the public. This is a wonderful opportunity to hear music played on multiple organs, including those at Battell Chapel, Woolsey Hall and the United Church on the Green.
Monday, June 24: A progressive organ recital with Yale organ professors Martin Jean and James O’Donnell, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at United Church on the Green and progressing to Battell Chapel and then Woolsey Hall.
Tuesday, June 25: A progressive organ recital with Yale Organ Academy guest artists Lynne Davis (Wichita State University), Nicole Keller (University of Michigan) and Robert McCormick (Westminster Choir College), beginning at 7:30 p.m. at United Church on the Green and progressing to Woolsey Hall.
Friday, June 28: A progressive organ recital by students from Yale Organ Academy, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at United Church on the Green and progressing to Woolsey Hall.
