The three female attendants accompanying Pharaoh’s daughter in this scene of the infancy of Moses (Exodus 1-2) wear lavish clothing and ornate earrings. The woman in the center holds a large and elaborate pyxis, probably a jewelry box, and the one on the right holds a round object, perhaps a bundle of clothing belonging to Pharaoh’s daughter.
