Description: Imagining Mary - Reading and discussion followed by a book signing.

Mary barely speaks in the Gospels, and yet her frequent appearance in Christian iconography is immense and powerful; her abiding presence in Catholicism is central. How, then, can the novelist imagine Mary and find her voice? What would it mean if she were to speak?
