Ben is a trumpeter, scholar, and community leader from Asheville, North Carolina. He began playing trumpet at age eleven and now holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from Davidson College, where he also completed a minor in religious studies. Ben comes from New York, where he recently completed his Master of Music as a student of Christopher Martin at The Juilliard School. Following recent grant-supported research at the Community of Taizé, Ben is pursuing an interdisciplinary vocational calling in music and reconciliation as a Master of Divinity candidate at Yale.
