Jacob Stewart

M.Div. ’26

Jacob is a second-year Master of Divinity student at Yale and Berkeley Divinity Schools and a student at the Institute of Sacred Music. He studies the intersection of liturgy and drama, focusing on questions of embodiment, breath, and aesthetics. Jacob has produced and performed in numerous plays from Dallas to NYC and holds a BFA in directing and playwriting from the Meadows School of the Arts at SMU. He is passionate about Reformation theology and enjoys cooking, sewing, singing, and practicing German and Greek. Jacob is discerning a call to the priesthood in the Episcopal Diocese of New York.
