A Philadelphia native, Leah has recorded and toured extensively as a singer within the R&B, gospel, contemporary Christian, and Christian hip-hop genres. She has enjoyed serving in multiple church music ministries as a singer and keyboardist with a particular gift for vocal and musical arrangement. She has released two independent projects as a singer-songwriter entitled Beautifully Made and Tenderheaded. Leah holds undergraduate degrees from Community College of Philadelphia where she studied sound recording and music technology, and The University of Pennsylvania where she studied literature, culture and tradition, graduating summa cum laude. After a decade as a dedicated SAHM, she continues her lifelong exploration of music and religion at Yale.
