- General Public
Not to be missed, Yale's annual Advent concert, as performed by Yale Camerata and conducted by Dr. Felicia Barber, will be infused with the sounds of France and is entitled Joyeux Noël. The concert will highlight French music and composers and will culminate with a performance of Francis Poulenc’s Gloria. The concert will provide opportunities for audience participation throughout. We hope to see you there, and on behalf of Dr. Barber, Yale Camerata, and our entire community, "Nous vous souhaitons de joyeuses fêtes de fin d'année" simply said, "We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!"
This event will feature a performance of Gloria by Francis Poulenc, as well as works by Chester Alwes, B. E. Boykin, Reena Esmail, Gabriel Fauré, John Joubert, Sofia Söderberg and Joel Thompson, as well as popular sing-along carols with the audience.
Free and open to the public.
