Forum on Religion and Literature. The “turn to religion” in literary studies has prompted a resurgence of academic work in this area. Only rarely, however, do scholars of literature and religion talk with each other. This forum aims to provide such a conversation. Together with faculty and students from across the Yale campus, we will explore the interface of religion and literature in both its contemporary and historic manifestations. Meeting once per semester, each session will feature original scholarship by a presenter who will facilitate discussion of his or her own work.
