A farewell celebration of our very own conductors Marguerite L. Brooks and André J. Thomas sharing with us their last live performance here at Yale.
This concert with Yale Symphony Orchestra features the world premiere of a new work by Julia Wolfe (conducted by Marguerite L. Brooks), Caroline Shaw’s “Music in Common Time” and Brahms’ “Nänie” (conducted by Jeffrey Douma), as well as André J. Thomas’ Mass: A Celebration of Love and Joy (conducted by the composer).
