Job Description: Choir Director Position Grace Lutheran Church in Astoria, Queens Choir director is responsible for conducting a small choir with a four paid singers and volunteers for one weekly Sunday morning service at 10:00 a.m. September-June (includes Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Good Friday and Easter services) Rehearsals Sundays 9:15 a.m.-9:45 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.-Noon Responsibilities include selecting, rehearsing, and conducting one anthem per week, as well as sung psalmody, gospel verse, and leading the congregation in hymn singing.
