Seeking a Choir Director for our church choir in Ridgefield, CT. St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church (Ridgefield, CT) has a small but devoted choir that consists of church members and college students. We seek a director to prepare the choir to lead congregational singing of liturgy, hymns and psalmody. Most Sundays the choir also offers a special piece of music during the worship service. We have a large library of music and enjoy learning new pieces as well. The choir is active September thru early June. Time commitment each Sunday morning is 8:30 – 11:30 for warm-up, worship, and rehearsal. Additional worship services on holy days include Christmas Eve 4 pm service. Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and Good Friday evening worship services at 7 pm. Compensation is $125-150 per worship service.
