Ethan Haman M.M. '21, M.M.A. '22 admitted to prestigious organ improvisation program

Congratulations to Ethan Haman M.M. ‘21, M.M.A. ‘22 as he begins life as a master of music student in the organ improvisation program at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Stuttgart, Germany.

After graduating from Yale, Ethan was hired as staff accompanist for the ISM’s choral department from fall 2022 until the end of the 2025 spring semester. His teachers included Jon Laukvik, Craig Cramer, and Martin Jean.

Ethan says, “I am very thankful for my time both as a student and a staff member at the ISM. Jeffrey Brillhart’s wonderful improvisation training in the ISM organ program have prepared me well for this next step.”
