Originally from Red Oak, Iowa, Abby Sherman (she/her) is a cross-genre mezzo soprano and teaching artist. Holding degrees from the Peabody Conservatory (M.M.) and Muhlenberg College (B.A.), Abby is thrilled to continue her training in early music as a member of the Voxtet. Abby is a passionate advocate for equitable music education and completed a full service year as an early childhood music teacher with ArtistYear, an AmeriCorps organization. Outside her performing and teaching obligations, Abby loves traveling and taking on new adventures, her most recent being at Marlboro Music Festival as part of the box office staff for their 75th anniversary.
