The Yale Institute of Sacred Music’s annual Tangeman Lecture is named for Robert Stone Tangeman, professor of musicology at Union Theological Seminary, in whose name the institute’s founding benefactor endowed the Institute at Yale. This lecture features a focus on music and religion.
