Anna is a vocalist, pianist, writer, spiritual abolitionist, and community organizer with a guiding vision for a peaceful and just world. Informed by interfaith practices, broad coalitions, and the power of collective singing, Anna works to enliven our human family through music, the arts, healing, and spiritual grounding. She appreciates many spiritual ways of knowing, including Christian liberation theology, Theravada Buddhism, and raja yoga. She studied human ecology and women’s, gender, and sexuality studies during her undergraduate years at Rutgers University. At Yale Divinity School and the Yale Institute of Sacred Music, Anna is excited to be pursuing a master’s degree in religion and the arts. Anna is deeply indebted to her home in the Adirondack Mountains of New York state—from the abundant natural landscape to the community members who show her infinite support and friendship—and she is equally grateful for her place at the ISM.
