Hailing from the Genesee Valley in Western New York, soprano Emily Krasinski has always been deeply connected to song and language. A graduate of the Eastman School of Music with degrees in both music and business, she has never stopped singing or creating. Emily is particularly fond of collaborative music making, even creating her own chamber concert series which debuted in the fall of 2023. During her time at Eastman, Emily was able to travel abroad twice for language intensive programs where she grew in her knowledge of language and ability to tell stories in foreign languages that quickly became her own. Emily won second prize at the Friends of Eastman Opera Competition and also competed twice as a finalist in the Jessie Kneisel German Lieder Competition during her final two years at Eastman. When she isn’t singing or trying to speak French, Emily can be found reading, taking a ballet class, or on the trails either running, hiking or biking.
