Lena is an Afro-Caribbean artist, educator, community organizer, and budding theologian originally from Boston, Massachusetts. After graduating with a B.A. in classics and linguistics from Dartmouth College, she performed various professional roles in arts organizations, earned an M.S. in arts administration and received opportunities to launch her own community art projects. The recent flourishing of her lifelong faith has spurred her toward the M.Div. with hopes of integrating her deepest passions, including biblical studies, ancient history, art and culture, and community, into a multidisciplinary ministry. Outside of art and academics, Lena adores animals, the ocean, dancing, and romanticizing her life as much as possible.
