Pearl Silverman is a poet and student from western Massachusetts. Before graduating fromthe Iowa Writers’ Workshop, she studied philosophies of history at Smith College and spenta year archiving Radio Free Europe materials in Budapest. At Yale, she wants to explorehow poetics carry out mystery, beauty, and spiritual reality. Her poetry is forthcoming inBennington Review.
