Pearl Silverman is a poet and student from western Massachusetts. Before graduating from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, she studied philosophies of history at Smith College and spent a year archiving Radio Free Europe materials in Budapest. At Yale, she wants to explore how poetics carry out mystery, beauty, and spiritual reality. Her poetry is forthcoming in the Bennington Review.
