Born in New York City, Sarah began her organ studies at Clifton College in England, where she was an organ music scholar studying with James Drinkwater, and built a strong musical foundation through the U.K.’s Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. She continued her studies at Groton School, MA, with Daniel Moriarty and Peter Sykes and served as Organ Scholar at Christ Church in Fitchburg, MA, for two years. Sarah received the 2026 Young Arts National Award in Classical Music (Organ), won the 2026 M. Louise Miller–Paul E. Knox Scholarship Competition, and received second prize in the 2024 Albert Schweitzer Organ Festival High School Competition. Sarah is in the combined B.A./M.M. program, pursuing a B.A. in molecular biophysics and biochemistry, while also studying organ. Her dual pursuits in music and science reflect a lifelong curiosity and passion for discovery.
