Eleanor Craig is postdoctoral fellow in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Emory University. They research entanglements of religion, race, gender, and coloniality in philosophical and literary genres and are coeditor with An Yountae of Beyond Man: Race, Coloniality, and Philosophy of Religion (Duke UP, 2021). At ISM, Craig will be studying poet Mei-mei Berssenbrugge’s papers at Beinecke Library for a book project on religion, ritualization, and decolonial feminist critique in Asian diasporic poetry. This work is especially interested in how ritual practices (such as Berssenbrugge’s method of collage) operate as modes of poetic assemblage.
