Applications for the Yale Institute of Sacred Music’s Religion, Ecology, and Expressive Culture (REEC) Initiative will open September 1, 2026.
We invite proposals for events during the 2027–28 academic year that explore the intersection of religion, ecology, and expressive culture—from conferences, performances, and exhibitions to panel discussions, webinars, and other creative collaborations. We especially welcome proposals that engage diverse sacred practices, rituals, and the arts in response to today’s most pressing environmental challenges.
